That’s the question most people ask when they first hear the word “Bonaire” – the name of the Caribbean rock I call home. I’m not surprised.
After all, this tiny Dutch Caribbean island is tucked away in the far southern Caribbean well outside the hurricane belt, just off the northern coast of Venezuela.
We’re the “B” in the ABC islands. Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao. We’re the easternmost of the three.
Unless you are a scuba diver, windsurfer or kiteboarder, Bonaire never pops up on your radar. But it should!
There’s so much to do, see and experience here. And with perpetual sunny weather, a laid back attitude and loads of opportunity for active fun, anytime is the right time to visit.
So what are you waiting for?
